Our ME (Main Effort) is supporting veterans and their families from both the armed forces and blue light services. As a small team with big hearts based in Aycliffe, we’re passionate about promoting mental health awareness and overall wellbeing.

We work both privately and within the community, hand in hand with veterans, to meet their needs and foster camaraderie. Whether it’s general maintenance, painting & decorating, fencing, handyman work, or paving/slabbing, we’re proud to offer meaningful support that goes beyond words.

Together, we aim to break the stigma and remind every veteran: you are not alone.

Many veterans have experienced situations that most people can’t imagine. We’re here to offer understanding, connection, and hands-on help with a range of services across Aycliffe and surrounding areas.
